Enter your address, measure your pool from a satellite view, and lay out solar pool panels on your roof — step by step.
A note on our self-service tools: they're great for getting a rough idea of cost, but every pool and roof is unique. For a firm quote, please call (951) 276-8286 or email office@solarpoolservicesinc.com.
Leave your details and we'll follow up — one of our technicians can even prepare a preliminary estimate from satellite imagery before we ever visit.
We'll follow up promptly with your no-obligation estimate. For anything urgent, call (951) 276-8286.
Pick your address from the suggestions and we'll bring up a satellite view of your property.
Click each corner of your pool on the satellite view — a dot lands on every click. After three, the first dot turns green: click it (or double-click anywhere) to close the shape, then drag any corner to fine-tune.
No pool yet? Tap the ✎ pencil to type the surface area instead.
Look right? Confirm to continue — or keep editing and drag the white dots to fine-tune the outline.
The panels highlighted in red are sitting on top of each other, which usually isn't installable. You can go back and spread them out, or continue anyway if that's intentional.
Tap the spot where your pump and filter sit — usually a small pad beside the house — and the EQ marker lands there. Tap again or drag it to move it.
We need this one: the distance from the pad to your roof is the pipe run we have to price.
Drag panels from the tray onto your roof — or press Auto-Place Panels and we'll lay them out on your sunniest roof section. Sunny, south-facing roof heats best. Drag the yellow dot to rotate a panel.
Aim for 80% on the Panel Coverage meter at the bottom left — that's panel area equal to 80% of your pool's surface, our standard for a fully sized system.
Your layout is set! A few details about your property finish off your estimate.
Typically it is — if you're not sure, leave this as Yes and we'll verify before installation. (If it turns out not to be, your System Automation Kit becomes the version with its own solar control box.)
Coverage compares panel area to your pool's surface area — it isn't a score out of 100. At 80% the panels add up to 80% of the pool's area, which is our standard, fully sized system; California Title 24 sets 60% as the legal minimum. More panel area buys warmer water and a longer season at both ends. Solar typically adds 10–15°F over the season.
We've assumed 4′×12′ panels (our standard — the most cost-effective size) and a solar-capable control box, which nearly every pool already has. We confirm both on site.
We’ll receive your exact configuration along with your details, and get back to you to arrange the site inspection that turns this into a firm quote.
