Information we collect
What you give us. Your name, phone number, email, service address, and details about your pool and your request, when you fill in a form or use the quote tool.
What's collected automatically. We use Google Analytics and Google Ads, which use cookies and similar identifiers to measure how the site is used and which ads lead to inquiries. Google may collect information about your activity on our site and on other websites over time. We also keep our own basic record of visits (pages viewed, how you arrived, and how far you got in the quote tool) under a random identifier, not your name; if you send us a request, that record is kept with it. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs.
How we use it
- To respond to your request, prepare your estimate, and do the work if you hire us
- To email you the occasional offer. Every one has an unsubscribe link.
- To measure which ads lead to real inquiries. When you submit a form, we send Google a hashed (one-way encoded) copy of your email and phone number for this purpose, never the plain text.
- To keep spam and bots off our forms
- To keep business records and comply with the law
Text messages
We text our own customers about work they've asked us for: when we're on the way to a visit (with a link to follow the truck), scheduling, and replies from our office about a quote, repair or warranty claim. We text you only after you give us your mobile number and agree to get these texts. They are never marketing. How often varies with your appointments, usually no more than a few per visit. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from every kind of sharing described on this page; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Phone calls
When you call us, or we call you, the call may be recorded, and you'll hear that before anything is recorded. We record calls so we have an accurate record of what was asked and agreed, and a computer writes out the words so we can find them later. If you'd rather not be recorded, tell us and we'll stop. Our phone service (Twilio) carries the calls; our hosting provider (Cloudflare) stores them and has them written out by its transcription partner (Deepgram), only for us. We keep a recording for two years; the written transcript stays with your customer record. Card numbers are left out of transcripts. To ask for a copy, or to have a recording deleted, call or email us.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business (website hosting and security, analytics and advertising, address lookup, email delivery, and job scheduling), and only so they can provide those services to us. None of this sharing includes your text messaging opt-in or consent (see Text messages). We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a real person is filling them in. To make that check, Cloudflare receives information about your browser and connection, as described in its Turnstile Privacy Addendum and privacy policy.
Payment processing. When you pay an invoice online, Stripe handles your card or bank details. We never see or keep your full card or account number.
Cookies and Do Not Track
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Google also offers its own controls: Google Ads Settings and the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. Our site does not respond to Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals.
Your choices
To stop our offer emails, use the unsubscribe link in any of them, or ask us. To see, correct, or delete the information we have about you, contact us using the details below.
Children
This site is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
